We work closely with venues, production designers and event organisers from early concept through to bump-in, operation and bump-out — with equipment and crew capacity for productions of significant scale.
This includes fixed venue installations, touring theatre productions, and public spectaculars that combine lighting with drones, projection or pyrotechnics.
From proscenium to public spectacle
We light traditional theatre — plots, focus calls, cue stacks, season support — and the large-scale public events that don’t fit inside one: illuminated trails, building washes, drone show integration and community spectaculars. Recent work includes Kinky Boots, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Bare: A Pop Opera, Hofesh in the Yard and the Fremantle Biennale, delivered from concept renders through to opening night.
Venue installations
For schools, theatres and places of worship, we design and install permanent and semi-permanent rigs: fixture selection sized to the room and the operators who’ll run it, dimmer-to-LED conversions ahead of the halogen phase-out, control systems from single-fader simplicity to full console, and training for your team.
FAQ
Do you support school and community theatre? Yes — including seasons on a budget. We’ll design around your existing house rig and fill the gaps rather than replace it.
Can you integrate drone shows and pyrotechnics? We design lighting to sit alongside drone displays, pyro and lasers, coordinating timecode and sightlines with the specialist operators.
Do you handle permanent installations? Yes — design, supply, install, commissioning and operator training, with ongoing maintenance available.
